These are specific codes to indicate faults in the car’s engine or transmission system. The Powertrain is a set of parts in the car that create the power necessary for the car to move over any terrain. It usually consists of the engine, transmission, axles, steering and differentials. In addition, these types of codes are identified by the letter P, preceded by 4 digits that specify the type of failure and its location. It can be in the fuel system, ignition and emissions.
