C1189 Code failures by brands

Description of DTC code C1189

The active brake booster consists of a vacuum brake booster, a control unit for the brake booster, and a Delta Road Sensor. If an erratic operation occurs in the Brake Booster System, which is caused by a loss of vacuum, the Delta Road Sensor will indicate to the ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) actuator and the Electrical Unit (Control Unit) that a booster failure has occurred.
